established farms may apply to become a Production Farm and receive personalized support from the initiative to cultivate plants and sell their harvest.
When you sign up for Lilium Initiative membership you will receive:
Lists of plants best suited for diverse growing zones and environmental conditions
Early access and discounts to Lilium workshops and events
Access to our Grower’s Manual that outlines growing techniques and methods specific to Asian Medicinal Plants (coming soon)
Discounts on advertising in our newsletter
Access to our Video Library where farmers share farm tours and growing techniques (coming soon!)
If you are already growing Asian Medicinal plants or know that you will be harvesting plants in the coming season, you can apply to become a Lilium Production Farmer. Lilium Production Farmers are our vetted and trusted growers that commit to producing quality herbs for our partners. In the application process we take a look at the details of your farm and growing techniques to ensure they meet our standards. If accepted as a production farmer you will receive access to seed and are eligible to participate in our grower crop trials. If you already have crops growing and are ready to sell, we will assist in brokering the sale of your harvest.
Applying for and becoming a Lilium Member Farmer gives you:
Access to vetted seed and germplasm
Personalized recommendations for your farm, based on growing conditions and ideal crops for your operation
Eligibility to participate in our grower crop trialing program
Access to our grower crop trial data
Seasonal price list for each plant species based on current market demands
Lilium Initiative services to broker the sale of your harvest
Membership in our Farmer’s Forum where you can collaborate and troubleshoot with other Lilium member farmers
Membership Fees:
$50 - Lilium Initiative Annual Membership (Farmer rate)
$25 - Application Fee for Production Farmers (Farmer Membership required)
